What is VETCO?

VETCO is the Veterans Coalition of Tarrant County, an organization designed to connect and support those agencies, institutions, and companies that work to assist our veterans and their families.

Who are VETCO members?

While and individual or organization is welcome to be a part of VETCO, its programs and activities are designed for those organizations and agencies providing services to directly assist veterans and military families.

How often does VETCO meet?

VETCO holds its general membership meeting once a month (virtually, due to COVID). This meeting is usually held the 4th Friday of each month from Noon to 1:30pm. However, occasionally holiday or other consideration require the meeting be moved to another day. Always check the VETCO website for the most up to date information on its meetings.

What are the goals for VETCO?

VETCO intends to serve 3 basic, but necessary, functions:

  • Identify existing services for service members, veterans, and military families, as well as gaps in service
  • Provide tools and forums to member organizations to improve communication and collaboration
  • Facilitate the development of new programs among member organizations to enhance access to education, employment, and healthcare

As a coalition committed to the needs of veterans and military families, VETCO increases the knowledge base of programs and services available to veterans, convenes service providers to evaluate current needs and gaps in service, and provides a collaborative network for advocacy.
